Dedicated to teaching elementary school children about nature conservation and wildlife preservation, Audubon Canyon Ranch’s Juniper Program is based in Glen Ellen, CA, just north of San Francisco. The goal of this campaign was to bring consistent branding across Audubon Canyon Ranch’s printed &#38;amp; social media, as well as to bring the fun of the program to its visual identity.&#38;nbsp;

This is my final animation project for my Intro to Motion Graphics class that I took in my final term at Portland State University. This lyric visualizer video is for the HAIM song, “Summer Girl,” which is a bonus track from their newest album, Women in Music Pt. III. I love this song for its summery, Lou Reed kind of feel, and echoed this mood through the use of archival footage of Los Angeles from the 1950s and 60s, and in the sunshine-yellow text and illustrations.

This was a poster that I had made for a screenprinting workshop in the Fall of 2020. The goal of our workshop was to make a poster based on a “call to action” prompt, and after I had spent an evening brainstorming the copy I would use, I really loved getting the chance to also learn more about the history of woodblock type in posters, as well as how to incorporate the split-fountain process into screenprinting.&#38;nbsp;

This travel guide series, The Idler’s Guide, is centered around the idea of exploring new places at your own pace. The throughline to The Idler’s Guide are the three different travel agendas for each city for the reader to use based on the length of their visit— either a day, a week, or a month— with the days either being filled with the absolute must-see’s for those just passing through, to traveling off of the beaten path and seeing hidden gems for those choosing to stay a while.&#38;nbsp; To continue this idea of juxtaposition, I also liked the idea of pairing the clean and formal text on the cover with handdrawn doodles that I scanned from my sketchbook to represent each city. Gift Card, 2019.


Founded right here in Portland, OR, in 2008, Frances May is a contemporary luxury clothing retailer located Downtown. With close ties to many local organizations, this set of three gift vouchers puts a spotlight on the amazing work done by three of the many great non-profits within the city. The vouchers themselves are printed on plantable wildflower seed paper and the sleeves from recyclable, neon cardstock to ensure that they are sustainably-produced.

Vinyl Album, 2018.


Recorded in Aspen, Colorado, in 1972, this redesign of John Denver’s infamous album, Rocky Mountain High, utilizes Wild West-inspired typefaces to capture the record’s genre, and bright colors to match the music’s liveliness. Both the 12" album and 7" single feature cut-outs on the front of the cover, with the single’s eagle-shaped die cut influenced by the lyrics off the album’s titular song; “I know he’d be a poorer man if he never saw an eagle fly.” This album is marketed towards all country folk fans.

In hopes of encouraging more voting-aged Americans to register for the upcoming Presidential election, this campaign, ‘This Goat Says VOTE!’ uses a zany slogan and brightly-colored, Risograph-printed posters and buttons to catch the attention of anyone who might walk by. This campaign’s key demographic is for young adults that are not yet registered to vote.

Young Musicians and Artists is a summer camp dedicated to educating young and aspiring musicians, graphic artists, and actors. Based here in Portland, YMA has been around since 1965 with the goal of making theatre, music, and art education more accessible to kids and teens, as well as encouraging creativity in those with a passion for the arts. Sarah Nason, Ashley Brackett, and myself worked together to build this new brand for YMA, and it can be seen live on their website at www.ymaarts.org.
